This was created about the time I began studying at Art Center. | Madonna & ChildThis small drawing was created during an art history class as a study for a modern interpretation of a madonna with child (Jesus) which I never created as my workload at Art Center prohibited. |
Joe & JannyThis is a colored pencil drawing I did on vellum paper dipicting a self portrait of Janis & I during my studies art Art Center. | The BeginningA pencil sketch from my early days at Venice High School. I've always been fascinated with surrealism and Picasso and Dali are a couple of painters that I related to. I think back and wanted to be a painter but I knew I couldn't survive doing that, so I went with music for some years and then discovered Industrial Design as I was always in love with automobiles from my earliest years. Try and find some hidden iconography in the piece (there's even a self portrait of me at that time). |
